Elaine Mele is an experienced mental and physical health practitioner with a deep commitment to helping individuals heal, grow, and thrive.
Before transitioning into counseling, she spent more than 27 years as a Physical Therapist, specializing in chronic pain, chronic illness, women's health, and disability. She also holds advanced certifications in Professional Yoga Therapy and Integrative Women's Health Coaching, bringing a unique mind-body perspective to her work.
As a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Elaine provides compassionate, client-centered care grounded in a strengths-based and trauma-informed approach. She integrates evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and interpersonal therapy. Her work is further enriched by mindfulness practices, somatic awareness, and therapeutic yoga principles that support healing on both emotional and physical levels.
